| Bio: |  &&the_girl&& Daphne is an twenty year old Taiwanese girl who grew up in the infamous Los Angeles in California, and currently attends Simon Fraser University in British Columbia seeking to be an English Major. This journal will most likely contain lamenting on how she misses her friends and home terribly, and her attempt to adjust and make her friends in this country. She's a little gothy and a little apathetic to life in general, but Daphne is also an avid debater on subjects that she is passionate about- which includes politics, subjects of discrimination, anime, fandoming, and freethinking. This is your first warning. This is her journal - pleased to be not putting her down for her rallies and protests because she will try her damned hardest when she puts her mind on politics. Daphne is also known online as Shamera K. Tsukishirou (or just Shammy), which is a whacked up name she came up with at the top of her head when she was a whee child. She is also lolita when she has the time and money to spare. Problem? Deal. &&the_loves&& I'm an avid reader of both books and fanfiction- whatever it is I can get my hands on and interests me. I enjoy writing and graphics design, although I might not be any good at it. When I'm not posting, it's either because I'm too busy or have nothing interesting to say. I also love a lot of different animes, and am an avid fan when I have (and even when I don't have) the time to spare. Fandoms play a large part in my life. I believe in equality and freedom of speech. One day reading and writing will be a living for me, but right now it is an all-consuming hobby. I love cosplaying and singing, and spend a lot of time daydreaming. I believe that writing should never be censored. I also have a huge love for angst and drama in stories, and don't like happy endings very much (although kill off my favorite characters and I'll cry. XP).
